ASTM A500B Welded Pipe Square Tube

Rectangular pipe is a name for square pipe and rectangular pipe, that is, steel pipes with equal and unequal side lengths. It is made of strip steel after process treatment. Generally, the strip steel is unpacked, flattened, crimped, welded to form a round tube, and then rolled into a square tube from the round tube and then cut to the required length.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Also known as square and rectangular cold-formed hollow section steel, referred to as square tube and rectangular tube, the codes are F and J1 respectively. The allowable deviation of the wall thickness of the square rectangular tube shall not exceed plus or minus 10% of the nominal wall thickness when the wall thickness is not greater than 10mm. , when the wall thickness is greater than 10mm, it is plus or minus 8% of the wall thickness, except for the wall thickness of the corner and weld area. 2. The usual delivery length of square and rectangular tubes is 4000mm-12000mm, mostly 6000mm and 12000mm. Rectangular tubes are allowed to deliver short-length and non-cut-to-length products not less than 2000mm, and can also be delivered in the form of mouthpieces, but the buyer should cut off the mouthpieces when using them. The weight of short-length and non-cut-to-length products shall not exceed 5% of the total delivery volume, and the weight of square and rectangular pipes with a theoretical weight greater than 20kg/m shall not exceed 10% of the total delivery volume
